Lab
As everything here seems to be “in construction” I’ve decided to add the first accessible lab area of this site.
A few examples of this work/ hobby type of development are below:
Forms Framework
This is the first stage of what I think could be a great toolkit for rapid implementation of accessible and usable forms. Tight HTML, gorgeous CSS and neat JavaScript with the help of jQuery is the result of some hours spent in the weekend. Check Forms Framework
Google Maps Playground
Found some tutorials online about the Google Maps API and started implementing some ideas myself. So far I’ve got:
- Markers with info windows
- Adding a clickable sidebar
- Loading the data from an XML file
- Polylines from XML file
Planner Prototype
At work I’ve developed a funky planner for a project that didn’t materialise. However this interactive little tool is worth mentioning.
Basically, it’s a drag and drop functionality tied to an e-commerce cart that gets updated as family members plan/ book activities prior to their holiday.
It was great fun to build and one day I would like to work further on it. Check the planner.
